Second Annual Back to School Bash a Big Hit!

We are thrilled to announce that our Back-to-School Bash was a big hit this year! We had over 100 more attendees than last year, and we couldn’t be more pleased. We want to thank the Meade Church of Nazarene for partnering with us and helping to make the event successful. We received a monetary donation from Eitzen Agency – Kory Unruh, KS Sales Manager, and Meade Thriftway provided the water for the event. Their support, along with that of many others, significantly contributed to the success of this year’s Back-to-School Bash.

This rating was awarded by The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), which has a system to compare the quality of senior health services provided by nursing centers. A 5-Star rating is the highest possible rating a nursing center can receive, making LTRC an outstanding senior care community.

AVHS Receives Grant From The Community Foundation of Southwest Kansas!

The grant will be applied towards the Pediatric Eye on Sight program, created by the healthcare system, to provide comprehensive vision assessments to a larger population.

AVHS Back to School Bash a Success!

Artesian Valley Health System (AVHS) hosted their first ever community-wide Back to School Bash on Wednesday, August 10, at the Meade City Park for all school-aged children and their families. The bash was a huge success, with over 200 people attending. The evening consisted of a free meal, field and carnival games, prizes, music, bounce houses, a petting zoo, playtime at the playground, and the splash pad.
