LTRC modifies visitor restrictions as COVID-19 cases rise in Meade County

Meade, KS – As COVID-19 cases rise in Meade County, Lone Tree Retirement Center (LTRC) has modified our visitation restrictions effective today, Monday, August 30, 2021, to protect the health of our residents and medical staff. Lone Tree residents are allowed only outdoor and virtual visits. The modified visitation restrictions do not apply to the family of residents’ in compassionate care situations.

As of today, Monday, August 30, 2021, and until further notice, only outdoor and virtual visits are permitted at Lone Tree Retirement Center. Visitors must call ahead to arrange an outdoor or virtual visit between the hours of 8 am through 8 pm. However inclement weather conditions or a resident’s health status may hinder the possibility of an outdoor visit. Upon arrival, all visitors must go through a screening process which includes a temperature check, symptom check, and a COVID-19 exposure history questionnaire. The modified visitor restrictions do not apply to the family of residents’ in compassionate care situations, which are permitted regardless of the facility’s visitation status.

Lone Tree Retirement Center would like to thank the family and friends of our residents for their understanding and cooperation with the modified visitor restrictions. Your cooperation in observing these guidelines is appreciated and will help us provide a safe environment for our residents and medical staff.
