Family Nurse Practitioner Grismeldy Gomez joins Artesian Valley Health System!

Meade, KS – June 22, 2023 – We are excited to inform you that Artesian Valley Health System (AVHS) has welcomed Family Nurse Practitioner Grismeldy Gomez, FNP-C, to our team of full-time providers. Grismeldy specializes in providing primary care for patients of all ages, from infants to the elderly, addressing acute and chronic medical concerns.

Gomez obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from St. Louis University in Saint Louis, Missouri, and pursued her Nurse Practitioner degree at Maryville University, also located in St. Louis, Missouri. She worked as a nurse practitioner for four years in Dodge City, Kansas, before joining Artesian Valley Health System as a provider.

She is enthusiastic about offering care to Meade and its neighboring communities.

Grismeldy Gomez is now seeing patients at our Meade and Plains Rural Health Clinic alongside Dr. Schowengerdt, Dr. Miller, Melissa Whitney, PA-C, Lottie Garcia-Gleason, APRN, Bambi Lane, APRN, and Natalie Carrillo, APRN.
