Meade, KS – Artesian Valley Health System is pleased to announce the addition of Family Nurse Practitioner, Bambi Lane, MSN, APRN, FNP, to our team of full-time providers. Bambi provides primary care services for patients ranging from infants to the elderly with acute and chronic medical issues.

Bambi completed her undergraduate studies at Western Governors University in Millcreek, Utah, and earned her Master of Science in Nursing at Walden University in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and is certified by the American Heart Association in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Basic Life Support (BLS).

She obtains extensive experience as an emergency trauma nurse, house supervisor, and geriatric care. Lane also completed a Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) in order to provide high-quality, trauma nursing care. “One of the most rewarding aspects of a career in nursing is the ability to connect with my patients while we often meet under very difficult circumstances. I get to know my patients very quickly and have the opportunity to play an important role in their lives.”

Lane said her interest in healthcare came from her sister. “I have an older sister who has a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, and I have always looked up to her.”

Bambi was born and raised in Garden City, Kansas. She currently resides in Cimarron, Kansas with her husband, five girls, and son. Lane enjoys watching her children play volleyball, softball, cheering, and spending time with her family and friends. “I am so very proud of my family. My children keep me on my toes! My oldest will be attending Kansas University (Rock Chalk!) this fall with plans to study pre-med and my second oldest is planning on going into Nursing at Garden City Community College.”

Lane is excited about her new role as a Family Nurse Practitioner at AVHS. She explains, “I am a small-town girl born and raised in Garden City, Kansas. I love the small-town feel and being able to provide care to a rural area. I am here to help my patients live life to the fullest. I am devoted to preventing and managing disease and helping patients of all ages achieve optimal health and wellness by providing compassionate and comprehensive care.”

Bambi is now seeing patients at the Meade Rural Health Clinic located at 119 N. Hart Street in Meade, Kansas. To schedule an appointment with Bambi Lane, please call (620) 873-2112.
