At the January 2018 Board of Directors meeting, Artesian Valley Health System honored their retiring member, Roger Musgrove, and welcomed their new board member, Milton Tacha.
Roger Musgrove of Meade, KS began serving on the board in 2001. Throughout his 16 years of service on the board he was part of several major milestones for Artesian Valley Health System. These major milestones included the building of a new hospital, the formation of a health system and the search for a new CEO. He has also been serving as part of the health system’s physician recruitment task force and looks forward to continue helping in that effort. “I have enjoyed my time serving as part of the board of directors. It’s been very rewarding seeing everything that has taken place and being part of it. I’ve just really enjoyed it,” says Roger. Roger was honored for his years of service with a plaque presented by board member, Tom Rickard.
Milton Tacha of Meade, KS was welcomed at the meeting as the newest board member. Milton shares, “I’m glad to serve my community by being on the hospital board. The hospital has done me a lot of good and I want to help them out in return. I hope I can do a good job and serve the hospital well.”
“We’re extremely grateful to Roger for his dedication to the board for 16 years. We will miss his service and support but we know regardless of his role Roger will always be a big supporter for us. At the same time we’re pleased to welcome Milton as our newest board member. Milton is a huge advocate for us and his fresh enthusiasm will serve us well,” shares Steve Stewart, CEO.
